How do you set your pricing?
Good question, simple answer. Quantity and fairness. Silk&Sass buys in wholesale quantities, from trusted vendors, so that each product is less expensive and we pass on those savings to you, our valued customers. We always try to give fair value for the products we sell. If you find the same item lower please contact us and we can see why ours is higher.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept payments through PayPal on Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal. PayPal accounts MUST be verified PayPal accounts or your order will not ship. PayPal e-check orders may not ship until your e-check has cleared, so we highly recommend using Instant PayPal payments. Pending PayPal payments may also be delayed until the payment clears.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
Yes, very. Once you click the "Checkout" button while placing an order, you will see an image of a lock appear in the lower right hand corner of your screen on the browser. This indicates that you have entered the secure portion of our website. Sensitive credit card information is encrypted before being processed. All credit card transactions are securely proccessed through our gateway company, TrustCommerce. We don't just use the regular 128-bit SSL encryption like most other websites...our gateway with TrustCommerce uses military-strength encryption to keep your personal and credit card information safe and secure. We are also GoDaddy certified as a secure site.

How quickly do you respond to emails? ie..how is your customer service?
The staff at Silk&Sass understands that a happy customer is the cornerstone of any successful business. Our staff responds to all inquires quickly and efficiently, usually within 60 minutes during business hours. A toll free number will soon be available if we feel the need is there.

How does the billing work?
We take all credit cards and Paypal via the Paypal website. You don't need an account if you prefer to just use your credit card. Your statement will show up billed by ThankYou@silkandsass.com. We take your privacy very seriously.

How long does shipping take?
Shoes ship from the United States. Clothing, including Corsets, ship overseas. The reason for this is simple...cost. We would love to manufacture and ship these items from the states as well but then pricing would more than double. So, designs are created, and manufactured overseas so that the costs become reasonable enough for everyone to enjoy our products, or for those wanting to maybe try corsets for the first time without paying hundreds of dollars to do so.
